In an Instagram post, Jason gave fans a glimpse into a memorable family outing by sharing photos from his kids’ first Metallica concert. The actor’s heartfelt post showcased the tight-knit bond he shares with Nakoa-Wolf and Lola, 17.\n

He also gave a shoutout to his kids, “There’s a saying, ‘you should never meet your heroes they will ultimately let you down,’ but not in this case, because tonight, baby stand up. Tonight my children get to see me living out my dream standing next to my, my heroes.”\n
Jason added, “And my kids get to witness how Metallica has inspired all of us not just in the power of music but in the good they bring to this world with ‘All Within My Hands.'”\n
\nJason adores his kids and has always been intentional about parenting, drawing from his own experiences of growing up without a father at home. This has deeply shaped how he approaches raising Nakoa-Wolf, ensuring that his presence, guidance, and connection remain constant and meaningful.\n
“I didn’t know what it takes to be a dad. And I don’t want to just tell my son, ‘Because I said so.’ I really want to connect, and I want him to be vulnerable and open,” the actor explained.\n
\nThe “Sweet Girl” star wears his love for his children, close to his heart\u2014literally. He has their first names tattooed over his chest, inscribed in their own childhood handwriting. The tattoos were inspired by the original papers where they first learned to write their names, a permanent reminder of their bond.\n
In March 2024, Jason shared how deeply fulfilled he feels, attributing his happiness to the health and success of his family. “I’m living all the dreams I’ve ever wanted to do.
