Emma Heming Willis is celebrating 17 years of love with husband Bruce Willis.\n

On Sunday, Dec. 29, the model and entrepreneur \u2014 who married Bruce, 69, in 2009 \u2014 marked the anniversary of when the pair began dating by sharing a post on Instagram featuring a photo of the couple at sunset as they stood in shallow water in their swimsuits.\n

\u201c17 years of us \u2764\ufe0f,\u201d Emma, 46, began her message before going on to express some of the emotional complexities of their situation.\n

\u201cAnniversaries used to bring excitement,\u201d she continued. \u201cNow, if I\u2019m honest, they stir up all the feelings, leaving a heaviness in my heart and a pit in my stomach. I give myself 30 minutes to sit in the \u2018why him, why us,\u2019 to feel the anger and grief. Then I shake it off and return to what is. And what is\u2026 is unconditional love. I feel blessed to know it, and it\u2019s because of him. I\u2019d do it all over again and again in a heartbeat \ud83d\udc9e.\u201d\n
