{"id":70372,"date":"2024-03-13T17:09:11","date_gmt":"2024-03-13T10:09:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/alternatech.net\/?p=70372"},"modified":"2024-03-13T17:09:11","modified_gmt":"2024-03-13T10:09:11","slug":"crock-pot-chicken-and-dumplings-recipe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/justmetalking.com\/crock-pot-chicken-and-dumplings-recipe\/","title":{"rendered":"Crock Pot Chicken and Dumplings Recipe"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Crock Pot Chicken and Dumplings Recipe\n<h4>Ingredients\n<ul>\n<li>1 Onion, diced\n</li><li>6 Boneless skinless chicken thighs\n</li><li>1 can Cream of chicken soup\n</li><li>1 can Cream of celery soup\n</li><li>2 tbsp.Fresh parsley, chopped\n</li><li>1 tsp.Poultry seasoning\n</li><li>2 c.Chicken broth\n</li><li>1 can Buttermilk refrigerated biscuits\n</li><li>2 c.Frozen mixed vegetables, defrosted\n</li><li>Black pepper to taste\n\n<h4>How To Make Crock Pot Chicken and Dumplings\n</h4><p>Layer the chopped onion on the bottom of your crockpot.\n</p><p>Place the chicken thighs on top of the chopped onion in a single layer.\n</p><p>In a mixing bowl, place 1 can of cream of chicken soup.\n</p><p>Pour a can of cream of celery soup into the mixing bowl.\n</p><p>Add 1 tsp of poultry seasoning to the mixing bowl.\n</p><p>Sprinkle in 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley.\n</p><h4>Add black pepper to taste.\n</h4><p>Stir all of the ingredients in the mixing bowl, and pour over top of the chicken thighs in the crockpot.\n</p><p>Pour 2 cups of chicken broth over top of the chicken.\n</p><p>Set the crockpot to high for 5 hours and close the lid.\n</p><p>Do not open the lid until you have just 1 hour of cook time left on the crockpot\u2019s display. With 1 hour left, open the lid and pour in 2 cups of mixed vegetables that have been defrosted. Mix them into the crockpot well, shredding the chicken thighs as you stir.\n</p><p>Open a can of refrigerated biscuits, and flatten each one.
