Often a quick swipe with a damp cloth will do the trick.\u00a0Exhaust fans\u00a0are another item that shouldn\u2019t be overlooked. Remove the drain stopper and physically clean out what you can reach. To clean what you can\u2019t see, Mulder recommends a homemade solution.\n</p><p dir='\"ltr\"'>\u201cBoil a large pot of water and pour it slowly down the\u00a0tub drain,\u201d he says, \u201cThe goal is to dissolve the soap scum and dislodge the hair buildup.
