American singer Jennifer Lopez has opened up about her mindset following her divorce from actor Ben Affleck, revealing her reflections on self-love and future relationships.\n
More than a month after filing for divorce, Lopez candidly discussed how her world \u201cexploded\u201d this year and the personal growth that followed.\n
In an interview with comedian Nikki Glaser for Interview Magazine (published on 9 October), the singer explained, \u201cYou have to be complete if you want something that\u2019s more complete. I thought I\u2019d learned that, but I hadn\u2019t. This summer, I realised I needed to go off and be on my own\u201d, as reported by E! News.\n
Without directly mentioning Affleck, Lopez added, \u201cBeing in a relationship doesn\u2019t define me. I can\u2019t be searching for happiness in others. I have to find happiness within myself.\u201d\n
As for her current outlook on dating, Lopez noted she\u2019s not interested in romance right now, saying, \u201cThere\u2019s no new bar because I\u2019m not looking for anybody. I\u2019m focused on flying solo.\u201d\n
Reflecting on the end of her marriage, Lopez admitted it wasn\u2019t what she expected, but she believes it\u2019s led her to where she needs to be.
